There are a LOT of angered, exhausted, and aching Phillies Phans today. I am definitely one of them. Like many, I've never seen a Philadelphia team win a championship. Luckily, I didn't pay much attention when I was younger. But as I've grown older, I've had my heart broken during playoffs and championship series for the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, and Phillies. I watched the 2005 SuperBowl in a London flat, with a TV we purchased from a pawn shop for a mere 24 hours, wearing my pink eagles hat and hoping the Eagles would break the Wiliam Penn Curse. But Billy Penn was still pissed and wouldn't let us taste victory yet. Last year, I caught onto the Phillies Phever when we made the playoffs. But, we came up short yet again.
