As an ex-soccer player, I know I have tons of old soccer balls piled up in a storage room at home. Have you too retired from you high school/college soccer playing days?

Where to recycle soccer balls

Here are some ideas on recycling your old soccer balls.

Donate old soccer balls:

Are you old soccer balls still in decent condition? Consider donating to PeacePassers. The company partners with individuals and non-profit agencies to deliver gear to underprivileged domestic and international communities.

If your old soccer balls aren’t in great shape, check our your local SPCA’s page; most likely, they’ll be happy to take your old gear off your hands. Soccer balls make great play toys for dogs!

Reuse soccer balls: 

Use an old, deflated ball in your garage. Soccer balls work great when hung from a ceiling as a mark for where to park your car. The soft texture won’t damage your car, and will help protect your vehicle from hitting a wall.

If you’re the creative type and like crafting, try taking your old soccer ball and making a unique purse. This site has some other imaginative ideas of how to repurpose your old sporting gear.
