Philly Streets Dept’s Tire Round-Up Program 2014: WCI Weds

where can you dispose of used tires in philadelphia?Does your neighborhood have too many tires lying around the streets?

The 2014 Tire Round-Up Program encourages residents including Block Captains, organized community/civic organizations, Town Watch organizations, Partnership Recycling Groups to register and gather excess tires from littering the streets. Simply call  215-685-3981 by Friday, June 27th.

Residents receive a “bounty” of $.50 per tire for illegally discarded tires, up to 1000. The program encourages cleaning up Philly streets and offers incentives to prevent further health risks.  Tires from auto repair shops, mechanic shops, car dealers and private storage lots are not able to participate.

  • July 12
  • July 19
  • July 26
  • August 2
  • August 9
  • August 16
