Grab some trash bags and team up with your fellow community members to keep the streets clean.
The 12th annual Philly Spring Cleanup Day is taking place this Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. If you can’t stay for the whole time, that’s fine! Registration leaders will be on site between those hours to help you get started whenever you show up.
Last year’s clean-up saw thousands of volunteers participating in hundreds of projects and collecting hundreds of thousands of pounds of trash. This year is an opportunity to get more people involved to clean even more trash as Philadelphia fights back against litter and illegal dumping.
Don’t be shy about joining a project. Not only are you helping to keep Philly streets beautiful, but it’s a great way to meet and connect with people in your community. Build relationships with those in the neighborhood as you work together.
