Who says Gardens are strictly for the summer?

Since Philadelphia has been declared America’s Garden Capital, it’s only appropriate to ensure the festivities go year-round. Dilworth Plaza has been transformed with America’s Garden Capital Maze, which celebrates our region’s 32 public gardens. Make sure to add this to your winter bucket list: the maze will be on display through February 26th.

Wintergarden is offering 2 months of FREE programming in January in February, from workshops about winter plants, terrariums, seed bombs (with us!), floral arrangements and more. All of the Garden Programs are held in The Rothman Institute Cabin at Wintergarden.

Join us for a wintergarden Seed Bomb Workshop

We’ll be hosting two Seed Bomb Workshops. Bring the Family on Saturday, February 4th from 10-11 AM to make your Valentine a Seed Bomb.

On Tuesday, February 7th, join a Seed Bomb workshop on your lunch break from 12-1 PM.

Seed Bombs program description: 

Feeling garden inspiration while visiting the Dilworth Park Wintergarden and the America’s Garden Capital Maze? Join America’s Garden Capital for a variety of gardening programs that will have you dreaming of spring!

Learn how to combine seeds, clay, and compost into small balls perfect for sharing with your Valentine. Together you can plant these seed bombs anywhere that needs an extra burst of flowers.
