Happy Monday! Hope you celebrated the the last of October with a bang.

Good news: November is here,
it’s a new season and there’s plenty to do in Philadelphia!

Whether you’re looking to unwind with yoga, wander through endless chrysanthemums or spend time with the kids, there’s the perfect event for you this week:

Week Events for November 3 – 6, 2014:

  • Nature Preschool Open House: Find out more about the Schuylkill Center’s unique Nature Preschool for children ages 3 – 5. Visit classrooms while learning about the curriculum and schedule.  Also meet the school’s director and pick up a registration packet. Bring your children – there’ll be activities to engage them.  Thursday, November 6, 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Free.
  • Weeki Wachee Mermaids: For the first time, the world famous synchronized swimmers will be performing at Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront.  November 1-9. Daily between 10am-4pm.  Adventure Aquarium. 1 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ 08103.  More Info.
  • Yoga With Christine: Have you always wanted to try yoga?  Certified yoga teacher, Christine Lusser, offers a class designed for beginners, but all ability levels welcome.  Monday, November 3rd @9am. University of the Arts – Gershman Hall. 401 S. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19147. $15.
  • Chrysanthemum Festival:  Wander through the 4-acre conservatory and view more than 80,000 chrysanthemum blooms cultivated into fantastic forms, such as shields, spirals, cascades, balls, and even a 10-foot tall yellow chandelier. On View Through November 23. Longwood Gardens. 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square,  PA 19348. Details.
