We’re officially entrenched in December, which means it’s time to P-A-R-T-Y. But which ones to choose? Don’t worry, we got you covered with the best.

Week events December 7-10, 2015:

  • The Subaru Arctic Blast at Greensgrow Farms: Join the farm for 10 days of fun holiday activities and workshops including kids crafts, workshops and more. A few of our picks include the Vegan Holiday Cooking with Miss Rachel (from Miss Rachael’s Pantry) on 12/8 (6-8 PM) and Drinks workshop. Through December 13th, 2501 E. Cumberland Street, more info. 
  • Humane League Coffee Hour: Find out about the org at this casual HH! Tuesday, December 8th from 5-7 PM. 1601 Walnut St, Suite 502; More info. 
  • SBN Holiday Party & Online Directory Release: Enjoy guided tours of the brewery, complimentary beer & wine while seeing the new SBN online directory! Thursday, December 10th from 7:30 – 10 PM; 901 N. Delaware Ave; Register. 
  • Spoke Magazine – Issue 4 Launch Party: Celebrate Spoke mag’s 4th issue at this free happy hour. Thursday, December 10th from 7 PM – 9 PM; W/N W/N 931 Spring Garden, more deets.
  • Healthcare & Higher Ed Summit: DVGBC’s 3rd annual summit will consist of two consecutive panels: the first panel will be academic research- and policy-based,and the second will highlight design and development practitioners using green building standards and rating systems to build with occupant health in mind. Weekend Events, December 11-13, 2015:

  • Greensgrow Holiday Bazaar: Looking for local, handmade gift ideas from some of the neighborhood’s most talented crafters and artists? Make a dent in your Christmas shopping at Greensgrow’s Holiday BazaarSaturday & Sunday, 10-4 PM; 2501 E. Cumberland Street, More deets. 
  • Explore the Piers of the Delaware: Visit and learn about the unseen urban ecology of three piers along the Delaware – the new Fishing Pier, Washington Avenue Pier, and an undeveloped wild pier or two. Saturday, December 12th from 10 AM – noon; meet at the entrance to Washington Ave. pier along the bike trail; $10; More info. 
  •  Jingle Jog: Get festive with a jog through Fairmount Park, seeing the Historic Houses decorate for the holidays with Fairmount Park Conservancy! Saturday, December 12th at 9:30 AM; Lloyd Hall; $25 Register.
  • THE PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET – HOLIDAY EDITION! With over 700 vendors, get that weird and unusual holiday gift for someone. Friday, December 11th (6pm to 11pm); Saturday December 12th (10am to 5pm); Sunday December 13th (10am to 5pm).  All Ages / FREE on Friday / $3 on Saturday + Sunday ($3 admission good for both days). 461 N. 9th St.
