Weavers Way Farm Hoedown this Saturday

Weavers Way HoedownSaturday is the Summer Solstice and an amazing time for a celebration!

This Saturday, join the Weavers Way Community Programs with a Hoedown from 6-9 PM.

The evening will be full of locally sourced, farm-fresh food, live music, farm tours, and outdoor games at the beautiful Weavers Way Farm. Highlights include local beer from Philly Home Brew Outlet, Art in the Age Cocktails, a buffet style BBQ (with vegetarian options), Philly band Birdwatcher, lawn games and tours of the farm.

The Hoedown benefits Weavers Way Community Programs, providing education for youth and adults through hands-on and conceptual learning opportunities. Education includes topics including nutrition, ecology and social justice all while planting, harvesting and tasting on farms and gardens in city limits! The Weavers Way Community Program reaches over 3,300 children and teens each year, including underprivileged youth in Northwest Philly, in farm education and School Marketplace programs.

Get tickets & more info on Awbury’s website. Tickets are $30; day-of $35; Sat., June 21. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Awbury Arboretum, 1011 E. Washington Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19138.
