Week Events January 18 – 21st:

• Power Campaign Rally:  Join Climate Justice Alliance, Environmental Justice Network, EDGE, and Clean Air Council to demand EPA ensure low-income, minority communities are not endangered by the Clean Power Plan. • Women Bike PHL – Coffee Club: Women Bike PHL meet at a different coffee shop in Philadelphia for Coffee Club — an informal gathering where Philly’s women bicyclists can share tips, rant, support, celebrate, and, most importantly….CAFFEINATE together. • NATURE PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE: Parents, learn about The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education’s Nature Preschool for children ages 3 – 5. Visit the classrooms, meet the preschool director and learn more about it. January 20th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM; 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128, More info.
• SBN Annual Members Meeting: This annual gathering is an opportunity for SBN members to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments, engage in our plans for the year ahead, weigh-in on the election of new Board Members, and as always, to make beneficial networking connections. • #StreetsDeptTurns5: #StreetsDeptTurns5 is a show aimed at celebrating artists in Philadelphia who put their work up on the streets, as well as the 5th anniversary of local blog StreetsDept.com.
