The Food Trust’s Night Market Philadelphia Hits Fairmount Tonight
Looking for something to do tonight? Night Market Philadelphia hits Fairmount Avenue between 19th and 22nd Street from 6 to 10 p.m. for a night of food, music, and art to kick off The Food Trust’s 2013 festival season.
The Food Trust is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to affordable and nutritious food. You can read more about their mission on The Food Trust’s website.
The event will feature food from Fairmount-area restaurants such as Lemon Hill, Rembrandt’s, and London Grill, as well as some buzz-worthy food trucks like The Tot Cart, Poi Dog Snack Shop, and more.
If you need something to wash down the smorgasbord of food, Yards Brewing Company will have local craft beer for sale.
In addition to the food and drink, there will be an art showcase at Eastern State Penitentiary, as well as live music from some Philadelphia-based bands. Not enough fun for you? The event will also feature circus performers.
You can RSVP to the event on Facebook or follow The Food Trust on Twitter for updates.
If you can’t make it this time, don’t fret! There are three more dates scheduled this year – West Oaks Lane on June 20, South Street on August 15, and Chinatown sometime in October.
