Sustainable & Fun Philly Events This Week!

Philly’s got a ton going on in the sustainability scene. If you haven’t been out and about, here’s a few excuses to get out of the house & get active:

• Young Involved Philly (YIP) has Do-It-Yourself (DIY) night at the Kimmel Center on Thursday, October 11th from 5:30 – 8 PM. There will be stations for easy-to-find resources that you can do on your own time (and try out on Thursday night!) Register online.
• Celebrate Philly Made with the Sustainable Business Network on Thursday from 6-9 PM at 777 South Broad (the same green property that debuted Philly Bike Share). Sales benefit the SBN and helping build a green & local economy. Get tickets on the SBN website.
• Caesarstone’s Color Pop Up Tour hits Philly on October 11-12 at Penn’s landing. Thursday’s panel includes discussions of remodeling, examples of refurbishing furniture & existing elements to create all-new living environments.
