Save the date – Delco Environmental Festival – 9/20/08

Save the date for Philadelphia suburbanites (or those who venture to Delaware county):

Willistown Environmental Festival on Saturday, September 20th, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM in Newtown Square, PA (apprx 20 minutes from Philly).

  • Learn about simple things communities, families and individuals can do to reduce our carbon footprint and protect the Earth & wildlife
  • Presentations on global warming, green buildings, native plants propagation, solar electric power, conservation through gardening, bee-keeping and biodiesel and hybrid cars
  • Crafts: Build your own birdhouse & pumpkin painting
  • Food
  • First 175 attendees receive ‘surprise’ gift
  • More!
