PHeaSt on Friday, October 17th: Celebrate Local Food & Gardens

Looking for an all-star garden-to-table affair, complete with locavores, wine and more?

PHeaSt is the place to be this Friday, October 17th from 7-10 PM at the Navy Yard in South Philly.

Complete with recycled props from the Flower Show for an “industrial-chic” setting, seasonal dishes, gardening teams and the opportunity to chat with chefs, PHeaSt is perfect for foodies or locavores. Thrown by Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the decor, food and drinks satisfy the senses.

PHeaSt’s 2014 highlighted partners include:

  • Bank & Bourbon
  • Heritage
  • Koliyan
  • Vetri Foundation
  • Supper
  • Capital Wine & Spirits
  • Yards
  • La Colombe
  • Farm 51
  • Southwark Queen Village Community Garden
  • PHS City Harvest/PPS

Taste your way around the affair to vote for the People’s Choice Award, and a few dishes will be voted “Best in PHeaSt”.

Ready to go?

Grab your ticket while they’re still hot. General admission tickets are $150 (PHS members $135). VIP tickets are $300 (PHS members $275) and include early admission at 6 p.m., a private culinary demo, and a special gift.
