Philly Beer Week is coming to an end, but the city of brotherly love always goes out with a bang. From family festivals, to solo mingling events, you won’t be bored this weekend.

Weekend Events for June 5-7, 2015:

• Philly Beer Week Lunchables: You can’t pretend like you don’t remember that feeling of joy you would get upon opening up your lunchbox to discover a Lunchable. City Tap House is hosting the official elementary school throwback with adult Lunchables containing a sandwich, dessert, and of course, beer!  June 5 from 11:30am-3pm; City Tap House (Logan Square). • Rittenhouse Fine Arts Festival: It’s that time again to explore the talent of America’s longest running art show. Wander the maze of 143 booths full of original creations. June 5-7  from 11am-7pm; 18th and Walnut Streets in Rittenhouse Square; More info: Rittenhouse Square Art.
• Philly Veg Fest:  Join the veg-friendly community for free this Saturday by supporting all things sustainable and healthy. Enjoy a variety of food vendors, demos, and speakers at this family and dog friendly festival. Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 11am-4pm; The Plaza” at Headhouse Square; Info: Humane League.
• Future Sensations at The Oval: You wont want to miss this epic sensory overload as this weekend may be your only shot to catch this traveling exhibition. If you can’t get enough of Philly Beer week there will also be at least 10 pop-up food and beer trucks at The Oval to accompany your experience. June 5-6 from 12pm-10pm; Oval on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway; More info: Saint Gobain site.

Julia Davis is finishing her second year at Temple University. She has a great love for many art forms including dance, creative writing and visual arts.
