Whether you’re looking for a guided run or bike tour around Philly or just want to hang out at a low country Shrimp Boil, there is plenty to do this weekend.

• Shrimp Boil @ Greensgrow Farms: Come out to support Greensgrow Farms, a local Philly farmstand, CSA and garden supply all-in-one, for a Shrimp Boil and dance party! The organization, which also operates many community-serving programs such as a low-income CSA, educational programming and community kitchen, will be serving up a low country boil complete with Zydeco dance party and surprise raffles! • Painting Workshop: ReStore Montco of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, PA is presenting a painting workshop to demonstrate techniques and supplies for furniture painting. Held at ReStore Montco, HeartWork Organizing owner, Darla DeMorrow will lead the hands-on event, providing inspiration for reviving furniture, like the pieces found at ReStore Montco, ready for their transformation. • Volunteer Day @ Francisville Farm & Orchard: Urbanstead and Francisville NDC are teaming up with local volunteers for a fun day of farming and green-work. • Guided Runs @ West Fairmount Park: Join fellow runners as guides lead a six-mile jog through West Fairmount Park’s trails. Enjoy the many running tracks through tunnels, over bridges, and past old trolley tracks. Linh studies Architectural Technologies at Philadelphia University and spent a previous semester studying Sustainability in Copenhagen, Denmark. These experiences home and abroad inspired her to take a closer look at her personal impact on the environment and ways to lessen it.
