(Just kidding.)
But seriously, this cleanup gives back to you.
Join the Fairmount Civic Association to clean up the Fairmount neighborhood on November 8th from 10 AM – 1 PM. Meet at the playground behind Eastern State Penitentiary (22nd and Brown) in order to grab supplies & snacks, and go forth on your cleaning ways.
Volunteers receive refreshments from OCF Coffeehouse & Urban Saloon plus most volunteers (they have a limited number) museum passes to the Eastern State Penitentiary, too! See? It almost doesn’t feel like volunteering after you stack all the day’s goodies.
No (good) volunteer effort is complete without an afterparty. Urban Saloon is offering specials to volunteers ($3 domestic beer, $4 craft and imports, $5.50 house wine) and raffling 4 $25 gift certificates to their fine establishment, too!
