Dance with the Bride & Support Local Art

Step outside of your normal weekend routine and into a Parisian carnival for the 48th annual “Dance with the Bride” on Saturday, April 1. The “Fool’s Night Out.”

Benefiting nonprofit The Painted Bride, the fundraiser will include belly and silk dancers, a live band, a delicious buffet, a silent auction, and much, much more.

Nonprofit Painted Bride supports local artists in its Old City location. Painted Bride is a venue, gallery, and community of people who care deeply about the arts and has a mission to bringing emerging artists, both local and international, into the limelight.

In a time where the arts’ funding is threatened, the Painted Bride has been committed to diversity from the beginning, showcasing and amplifying the voices of marginalized artists and thinkers. Plus, Artists such as The Roots, choreographer Rennie Harris, and poet Ursula Rucker have found their beginnings at Painted Bride.
