The Brewer’s Plate Returns to Philly on March 9th

Brewer's Plate Philly 2014The locavore & beer lover’s favorite feel-good event of the year returns on March 9, 2014. The Brewer’s Plate Philly has changed locales to the Kimmel Center of Performing Arts, but is guaranteed to be amazing as always.

The 10th annual Brewer’s Plate’s smörgÃ¥sbord of food & beer pairings brings some of Philly’s best chefs, farmers, brewers, distillers and more together to celebrate. The fundraiser for Fair Food (and managed by  Rolling Barrel Events), promotes buying local and fresh, building momentum of the locavore movement. Plus, Fair Food promotes a humane, sustainable food system for the region, inspiring partnerships of local providers and your favorite eateries. What’s not to love?!?

Sample your way through the Kimmel Center and take a break in a breakout session to learn something new. The Brewer’s Plate promises celebrity guests, exclusive beers and more. We thoroughly enjoyed sampling the local cheeses, speakeasy and schmoozing with Ben Franklin at last year’s celebration and can’t wait for what this year’s event has to offer.

Brewer’s Plate Vendors

This year’s food vendors include Alla Spina, Brauhaus Schmitz, El Camino Real, Miss Rachel’s Pantry, Night Kitchen Bakery, South Philly Taproom, Judy Wicks’ White Dog Cafe and many more. Brewery selections include local favorites Yards, Victory, Neshaminy Creek, Free Will Brewing, Prism, Boxcar, Dock Street, Dogfish Head; Earth, Bread & Brewery and many, many more. I’m so thirsty thinking about it!
