Philly’s Bike Share Hits 100,000 Riders

Two months after Philadelphia’s bike share system debuted, the system has hit 100,000 rides according to a PlanPhilly article today. As we mentioned in May, the system was on track to hit 50,000 riders one month in, meaning the popularity has stayed consistent around the bike shares.

There’s about 600 bikes in 60 stations, with plans to expand to 180 stations/1800 bikes by the Spring. (Here’s hoping to solve a few of the growing pains like bikeless stations or full docks will ease once the number of bikes increase.)

Also, we can brag to Boston, Denver & DC – their two month marks were lower than ours.
