March was way warmer and drier than average.

Philly was the 8th warmest location out of 180 locations that Climate Central monitors

Lions & lambs aside: it wasn’t just you: those warm days of March were above average.

Philadelphia had an average temperature of 47.8°F, which was 4.2° above average, according to Climate Central. There were 2.09 inches of precipitation, which was 53% of the normal amount.

Since 1970, Philadelphia Marches are getting warmer to a tune of 2.9°F.

There ain’t no stopping climate change: NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center suggests that April will be above average.
