As a part of Every Voice, Every Vote,” Green Philly will focus on social media and events around sustainability issues.

“Every Voice, Every Vote” is a new coalition created to inform and engage Philadelphians, ensuring their voices and interests are integral in the upcoming citywide campaign. The Lenfest Institute for Journalism is awarding $1.5 million to 52 news media and community organization partners.

Twenty-five media partners are receiving funding, including us. Green Philly is focusing on a social media campaign and events on election and sustainability topics.

Other media organizations like WURD Radio, WHYY, Billy Penn, and The Philadelphia Citizen will provide issues-oriented news coverage, candidate interviews, debates, and town hall meetings.
