Recycle Your Old Bridesmaid Dress – It’s Wedding Season!
Always a bridesmaid…never a bride. But where can you recycle your old bridesmaid dress once you’re finished?
(sidenote: no idea what that saying actually means… or where it’s from but it’s funny…)
I always have a blast at my friends’ & family’s weddings. (In fact, I currently have a residence in weddingville.) Yet, I’ve been accumulating bridesmaid dresses that may not always fit me all that well.
Recently I was contemplating what to do with some previous non-reusable dresses… to avoid Katherine Heigl’s fate a la 27 Dresses. Thank goodness Newlymaid landed in my in-box.
You can recycle your old bridesmaid dress AND score a new LBD for a low cost. The concept is great – you send Newlymaid your old dress, they either donate to Clothes4souls to be reused, or recycle dresses by Repreve. Then, you can purchase a little black dress for a heavily discounted price. Sounds good to me!
Don’t want a new black dress? Try donating your dress to a young woman’s prom or selling your dress on a site like Recycled Bride.

Thanks, Julie! I saw this same email from Newlymaid. Genius! Girls may not want another bridesmaid dress but who can ever have enough LBDs??
