Friday Quickie: Take Public Transit on Vacay

It’s part of our mantra, but we’ll tell you again: Take the greener route this summer.

Summers an amazing time to take advantage of vacations, near & far, but public transit can get you a lot further than you think.

Headed to Atlantic City to gamble or the South Jersey shores? NJ Transit makes the trip to Philly – AC super easy, plus they have buses to Wildwood & Cape May.

Headed to New York or Boston? Bolt Bus is my mass transit of choice – it’s super cheap, clean AND has free wifi. (Plus, they have an awesome rewards system to get free trips!) Megabus goes to DC, Pittsburgh and a TON of options from Philly.

Amtrak is great for skipping the road altogether and getting to a destination on a smooth ride.

Have a trip you can’t take public transit for due to locale or length? Make sure to carpool with a buddy!

Readers, where are YOU traveling to this summer? What’s your transit of choice?
