How Green are Your Holiday Lights?

I have a modest ‘Charlie Brown’ esque tree this year.  It’s not the most impressive fern but it’s enough to make it feel like the holidays are here.

If you don’t mind sacrificing a little size a small tree can be a great choice because you use less lights … meaning less energy.

Another good way to green your holiday lights is to use LED.  There’s even some solar-powered lights on the market.

And, of course don’t forget to unplug your tree or decorative lights when you’re not home.
