Endangered Species Chocolate – So Worth It

Listen up chocolate lovers – Endangered Species Chocolate is where it’s at.

I tasted this delicious cocoa treat in Southern California recently and was hooked. As a chocolate lover,  I felt like I was living under a rock having not heard of it previously.

What’s even better? Endangered Species is registered with  and meets all requirements of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

They practice the 3 R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle – as if you didn’t know!) and have these green practices:

  • Their chocolate bar wrappers are printed on recycled paper and use water based ink.
  • All of the furniture in offices is constructed of 23-100% recycled materials.
  • Plus, they provide their customers with practical ideas to reuse their packaging. Go here for more details.

Where can you find this delectable crack chocolate? In the Philadelphia region it’s sold at Whole Foods and Walgreens.
