

World Water Day – Family/Community Event

FreeOutdoor family-friendly event in celebration of World Water Day on the scenic banks of White Clay Creek. Food, free trees to take home, and fun activities: the discovery of live stream bugs (aquatic macroinvertebrates) at the Watershed Education Mobile Lab, stream ecology videos, a bilingual (Spanish and English) reading of the Creek Critters children’s picture book, tours of the Stroud Center, and an electrofishing demonstration to learn how real scientists sample eels, trout, and other underwater neighbors in White Clay Creek.
