Watersheds Discovery Day

Free- Please join members of the Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association for a Watersheds Discovery Day on Saturday, June 1 from 2-5 p.m. at our Okehocking Preservr headquarters, 5316 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square. There will he hands on activities, presentations about Watersheds, tree health, invasive plants vs. native plants, and more, plus discovery tables, fun with water, recycled art, live music, beverages and snacks, including a special visit from an ice cream truck.
- This is an opportunity to learn how precious our local Watersheds are — and how important. All the little creeks and streams that wind through our backyards and parks collect stormwater runoff, pollutants and fertilizer that can wind up in our reservoirs, rivers and oceans. If we work to keep our creeks healthy, it benefits our drinking water and the health of the wildlife that live here. Please join us June 1 to discover how important that is, how to go about being part of the solution, and have fun along the way!
