Calling all volunteers to get involved in a mega tree planting party! We aim to plant more than 630 trees this spring at our 1,263-acre ChesLen Preserve, in an all-volunteer effort generously supported by TreeVitalize.
Our large-scale tree planting is part of an important reforestation project in the southwest area of the preserve. Planting native trees is one of the best ways to support wildlife as well as minimize erosion, purify air, filter nutrients, capture stormwater runoff, and provide great spaces for people to enjoy! Natural Lands Trust is hosting a tree-planting party to plant more than 630 native oaks, maples, birches, and other species.
Volunteering with Natural Lands Trust is a great way to learn about habitats and wildlife, while helping steward natural resources and connecting with communities. Please register at our website to let us know you are coming.
