United By Blue’s Tacony-Frankford Creek Cleanup!

April 28, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join United By Blue and  Temple University for a cleanup of  the Tacony-Frankford Creek! Flowing for 6.8 miles, and eventually joining the Delaware River near the Betsy Ross Bridge, the Tacony-Frankford creek is a a part of the larger Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed. The two creeks come together at the historic Tacony Creek Park welcoming outdoor enthusiasts, bird-watchers, and hikers, as a green retreat from its urban surroundings.

As a part of Temple University’s  Global Days of Service, United By Blue invites the community to help preserve this Philadelphia green space. Please help us to clean up the Tacony-Frankford Creek!
