Sustainable Shopping at Grant Blvd: Philly After Hours

Join Net Impact Philly for a fun night of shopping small and learning this amazing new business with a huge mission.

Founded in 2017, Grant Blvd is a Black women-owned, Philadelphia-based apparel brand & BCorp on a mission to construct stylish, sustainably sourced fashion, while also supporting women who have faced cultural barriers to living wage employment in fashion design. In addition to designing directly for consumers, they also design garments for the hospitality sector. The company believes that if we demand more, if we think differently about not only what we buy, but who we buy from- we have the power to challenge not only the social issues exacerbated by mass incarceration, but to more meaningfully address climate change. One way to do this? By wearing our values.

Shop owner Kimberly McGlonn will open her store for our members to browse and shop. She will also spend some time talking to attendees about the business’ mission and strategy, and answer questions from the group.

Purchase a $10 ticket to attend this event and receive a $20 shopping voucher that you can put towards your purchase in the store during the event on 6/9. Space is limited, so make sure you purchase your ticket in advance!! While you shop, light refreshments will be available.
