“Spring Greening” Awbury Volunteer’s Season Opener

Instead of “spring cleaning” Awbury is calling St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th “spring greening” day!  From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM volunteers will meet at Awbury’s Cope house sheds to gather tools and set out to “spring green” the arboretum.

Family and community groups welcome!

Led by Leslie Cerf – Volunteer Coordinator and Penn State Master Gardener

Please wear layers and closed toed work shoes. In case of snow or temperatures below 40 degrees event will be rescheduled the next day Sunday, March 18 from 1 to 3 pm.

Location: Meet at the Awbury Arboretum Cope House sheds, 1 Awbury Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19138
