Join us on January 12th and watch the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers recreate the “sheep to wool” process. Members will card wool, spin it into fiber and weave with the spun wool on a loom. They will also demonstrate spinning flax, cotton and wool on looms from various time periods, ancient to modern. Feel free to try your hand at any of these activities. Judy Donovan, a PGHW member and award winning fiber artist, will give a short talk on the history of spinning.
