Shen Yun Performing Arts, the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company, will come back to Philadelphia with a new 2023 program and live orchestra from April 12 to 16.
As you may already be aware, “Shen Yun,” translates as “the beauty of divine beings dancing.” The company was established in New York State in 2006, with the mission of reviving 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture, which had been lost in many ways under Chinese Communist Party rule.
Shen Yun tours about 150 cities around the world each year. Shen Yun’s live performances garner thunderous applause and accolades from full houses. Some audience members drive hundreds of miles to see the show, and others watch the same performance five or six times.
