Free

Help WVWA continue our restoration efforts this fall at Camp Woods. Early spring and late fall are ideal times for planting. This gives the plants time to root and gain stability. WVWA plants a wide variety of native plants, shrubs and sedges; this diversity of food sources is necessary to support the local wildlife and insect populations that live and reproduce in this habitat.  will remove invasive plants and plant native trees and shrubs. Please wear sturdy shoes for digging, and bring a shovel and gloves if you have them; otherwise we will provide.

  • WVWA staff members are available for any necessary instruction
  • Snacks and additional tools are provided
