Producers’ Forum: The South Side Home Movie Project

Join us for a presentation of selected films from the archive of the South Side Home Movie Project (SSHMP), an initiative to collect, preserve, digitize, exhibit, and research home movies made by residents of Chicago’s South Side. Launched by Jacqueline Stewart, Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago in 2005, the SSHMP is both film preservation and visual history of Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods.
