Net Impact Discussion Group: How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi

August 26, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us on Wednesday, 08/26 for the fourth session of our Discussion Group to discuss “How to Be an Antiracist” by Ibram X. Kendi. The event will be held virtually on Zoom. RSVP for the link!

Ibram X. Kendi’s concept of antiracism “reenergizes and reshapes the conversation about racial justice in America–but even more fundamentally, points us toward liberating new ways of thinking about ourselves and each other. Instead of working with the policies and system we have in place, Kendi asks us to think about what an antiracist society might look like, and how we can play an active role in building it.” Read more info at the book’s website.

We’re looking forward to seeing you! Email with any questions.

Be sure to pick up the book before the meeting to discuss your thoughts and opinions. Please do not hesitate to join the discussion if you have not quite finished reading.

The Discussion Group series will be meeting at least monthly and will serve as a forum for all people who are interested in learning and discussing racial inequality and injustice in society.
