Mother Heart Walks in the Wissahickon
August 9, 2021 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 am
Mothers of all ages and stages: Join us for an experience of embracing the earth that will surely nurture your heart. Enjoy some early morning “happy-calm” in the park.
- We have two walks planned August 9 and 23 that are part forest bathing/mindful walking, and part intergenerational community building for moms of all ages
- Purchase tickets for August 9, and email to be on waitlist for August 23
- This first walk will take place Monday, August 9, in the woods along the creek, where you will be invited to slow down and open your senses to the beauty that is the Wissahickon
- Because we will pause along the way, we will travel only about a mile or so, and on flat trails for this first one
Footwear that can accommodate an occasional rocky or muddy patch is recommended.
We are keeping the group small, so hold your place by signing up with Eventbrite today, or contacting Margaret directly.
If you are new to the park, Margaret and Carly can help you get comfortable with spending time in this local treasure. You will find that the park is a wonderful place to start your day.
