Learn to use plants to produce natural dyes. Elissa Meyers and Mira Adornetto ofBLUEREDYELLOW will lead a two-part workshop about natural dyeing. The series starts with a hike to identify and collect plants. On day two we’ll talk about the history of these plants and dye fabrics with the collected material. Bring a lunch on Saturday. Pre-registration required.
Participants will take away worksheets, samples, and a silk scarf dyed with the plants collected on the hike.
