Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Arts Festival

Just as wacky, artsy, and Kensington as ever, the “best day in the neighborhood” is now known as the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Arts Festival. Join us for over 200 local arts and food vendors, alongside a parade of human-powered sculptural floats.
The derby kicks off at 12:30 from Trenton and Norris then parades it way through the neighborhood before returning to Trenton & Norris for the mud pit finish! Stay tuned for more information about derby day promotions and official spectator spots along the route.
Have kids who want to participate? This year for the first time, a mini mud pit from 1-2 pm! Think costumes on trikes and wagons and strollers!
