The Green Allies Conference is an environmental conference designed by college students, for college students. The event will bring environmental clubs and conscious individuals together for inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. The conference hopes to facilitate cooperation and expertise-sharing between the many college environmental clubs working on college campuses.
Speakers include David Radcliff from New Community Project, Julian Goresko from the University of Pennsylvania, Robert Whitefield from the Climate Reality Project, and Meg Soucy, representing Oxfam America. Workshops will be held by a variety of nonprofits and individuals, including Philly Food Works, Clean Water Action, and Temple’s Rad Dish Co-op.
