About the theme:
In a world pervaded by social media and advanced technology, we might find ourselves asking, “Where do I belong?”
If we look at our situation, we can see that we have so much access to the things we might want – and getting those things is only a swipe, click, and signature away! But, do we ever stop to think whether we know with full conviction what we really want? What the depth or core of our desire is?
In addition, we can see another reality – that is, that we have hundreds of friends online, but the connection we share with those virtual friends usually doesn’t extend beyond the limits of a computer screen.
So we may question, “Is the growing gap between online connectivity and heartfelt connection overtaking my entire life?” “Do I have a chance at depth? Or is virtual reality the sum and substance of relationships in the 21st century?”
