Community Gardens Day

Come volunteer at the Schuylkill Center Organic Community Gardens to celebrate summer and shared agricultural spaces across Philadelphia. Community Gardens Day is sponsored by the Neighborhood Gardens Trust, a land trust dedicated to protecting community gardens and shared open spaces. Schuylkill Center will provide tours, have a community work session and offer gardening education.

Community Gardens Day is rain or shine. This month’s Restoration Volunteer Workday will be in conjunction with Community Gardens Day—please meet at the Community Gardens.
