Aquaponics: Is Fish Poop the Future of Food?

Join Riverbend Environmental Education Center and the Philadelphia Science Festival in exploring environmental sustainability through Aquaponics.  Tour the aquaponics greenhouse and learn how fish waste is used to fertilize plants, and get the chance to sample some of wonderful foods that we are growing.  Also discover the many ways that aquaponics can play a role in our future sustainability, from water conservation to producing local food to helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
