A Midsummer Nature’s Dream: Art & the Summer Solstice

July 11, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

$15

How does art that idealizes nature change the way we see the world?  University of the Arts master lecturer Cristine Larson returns to talk about nature in art.  She’ll start with a survey of 17th – 19th century romantic art then consider a 21stcentury aesthetic of nature. Last, we’ll go outside and make art of our own.
