4 States, 1 Watershed: How water impacts our economy, health and local environment Virtual Event

May 27, 2020 @ 12:00 pm 1:30 pm

Water is an integral part of our daily life, but how much do we really know about the stuff we drink, cook and bathe with? The Delaware River Watershed is the source of drinking water for more than 13 million people and fuels nearly $25 billion – yes, BILLION – in economic activity across the four states. Hear experts on the 330-mile Delaware River speak about the vital role it has in our lives and what we can do to preserve the 13,000 square mile watershed.

Celebrate World Water Week with us to learn:

  • From River to Faucet: How our daily activities impact our drinking water
  • How one river’s assets are managed by four states
  • About the public-private collaborations to preserve the Watershed
  • Ways you can steward the Watershed for future generations through volunteering or by decisions at home!
