Meet City Rising Podcast

Meet City Rising, a podcast that compares how different cities are approaching sustainability and climate solutions. City Rising is co-hosted by me, Julie Hancher, and my friend Brady Halligan, formerly of the GREEN Program. It totally made sense to partner with Brady on this series – this is just one reason: 

Together, we take turns interviewing guests from various cities to discuss how our environment is connecting people, planet and creates future opportunities. We each explore one topic (for example, green buildings) for two episodes, interviewing two guests from two different cities working on the issue. In each episode, you’ll hear one of those interviews along with practical tips to become a little more sustainable.

We’ve been in the studio over the summer working on the podcast, so have season one ready for you.

Season 1 topics of city rising include:

• How are cities combatting carbon? Join us for Office of Sustainability comparisons with Philadelphia’s Director of Sustainability Christine Knapp and Orlando’s Director of Sustainability Chris Castro.
• Reimagining the way we design our urban built environment with Philadelphia’s Green Building United Alex Dews and Pittsburgh’s Green Building Alliance Angelica Ciranni.
