Today Sunday, April 22nd marks a very important day (besides my lovely sister-in-law & mother of my nephew Colleen’s birthday): Earth Day!

Earth Day started on April 22, 1970, was credited with launching the modern environmental movement, and passed the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act & Endangered Species Act.

Take some time today to think about what you can do on a local, national or global level to make our home more sustainable.  Since it’s rainy today, I highly encourage reading an eco-themed book.  My niece is choosing an Inconvient Truth for her literature, while I went with “End of the Line”:
